LepSoc 2016 - Day 2

After staying overnight in Twin Falls, I headed south as the sun was rising, for a beautiful drive to Wells, Nevada, where the north end of the Ruby Mountain Range rises up just southwest of town. An easy half hour drive brought me to the Angel Lake Campground where I saw and collected several butterflies in sagebrush-steppe habitat, before continuing up the road to Angel Lake, making several butterfly stops along the way. Afterwards I headed east to Wendover and drove across the Great Salt Lake Desert, then south to Orem for the night.
